“I was never a fan of fish growing up but when I started to develop a taste for it, I wanted to try fish dishes at restaurants. This one stuck with me since I had it. I crave the corn sauce that goes over a perfectly cooked salmon fillet. It's juicy, never dry, perfectly seasoned and the sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini pair really well with such a gorgeous piece of fish. Super yummy, looking forward to eating it again and again!!”

“I have been to Wence's about 5 times. I started going right during the beginning of Covid. All I wanted was to sit down and enjoy a nice meal outside. When restaurants were able to provide outside seating, I went for it. I grew up in this strip mall back in the 90s when I was enrolled Karate classes. Oak Park brings me so many memories. There's a lot of history behind it. I've tried several dishes, but my favorite dish of all time was the jumbo prawns with lemon sauce and the Chicken Piccata. Absolutely delicious. Service is always top notch and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Thank you. You have a fan for life.”

“We had the valentine days special this year. First time doing outdoor dining together during covid19 pandemic which was awesome! Wences staff was very accommodating with our needs and even going out of there way to provide a heat lamp for us since it was a little cold outside! Service was great! We had the prime rib,king salmon,and crab cakes for our meals. Prime Rib was cook to perfection & very tender & juicy. Crab cakes were deliciously amazing. The king salmon was very tender and delicious! For a busy valentines day the staff was professional & courtesy considering the business of the day. We be comng back soon. Thanks wences for the a great dining evning experience.”
